I went with Lemonade through Chewy because it was the most affordable option I found. While some people have complaints across all pet insurances, saving the same amount of money wouldn’t make a dent in significant vet care costs.

I have Healthy Paws and have had to work through some issues defining pre-existing conditions for my older dog. However, I was able to speak to the person rejecting my claims and ultimately got the decisions reversed, though it took some effort.

I have Nationwide Whole Pet, and it is expensive at $250 a month. However, we’ve needed it a few times in my dog’s three years, so I feel it’s super worth having.

I would suggest getting quotes from multiple companies to gauge which one has the most affordable price. Then, choose a company based on its pros and cons, considering any pre-existing conditions your pet might have.
